Updated 7/17/2024: They're back! This glassblower's special is a "grab bag" of approximately 15-15 2nd-ish quality cabochons and coins--no rough or tumbled opals. Each grab bag will have some small opals and some larger opals (8x6mm for example). The opals in this special are a broad mix of second quality (which could mean: less then perfect fire, poor polish, fissures, chipped edges, misshapen, etc.), discontinued opal shapes/colors, and/or odds and ends that we have collected. In each grab bag you will find a variety of shapes, colors, and sizes but lots of white round coins. These stones are best used for nice production work, teaching, and experimenting. All sales of these specials are final and there are no additional volume discounts on the Glassblower's Special.
